It's Time To Kill The WWW The time has come. We need gather our strength to rise up, stand together and fight. We need to make a change. A change that will be seen, heard and felt throughout the internet. The time has come for the WWW to disappear into the night like a shadow.   Of course there are people who believe the WWW prefix should still be used in URLs, but let's get real. It's 2014 and it's no longer required for anything but nostalgia. We need to stop saying it when telling people our URL, we need to stop including it in our advertising and we need to ensure users that type it in are redirected to the non-www URL.  Despite sites like Yes-WWW.org fighting for the continued use of the prefix, I have yet to hear a convincing argument against it. It's a waste of time, a GIANT waste of time if you look...

Domain Name Registry Scam If you've registered a domain in Canada over the past decade, you have probably seen an envelope from the Domain Registry of Canada show up in your mailbox. While there is technically nothing illegal going on here, this company uses deception tactics to prey on new users, and ones who are not technically inclined and don't know any better. What happens when we're fooled into believing things that look so real they couldn't possibly be fake? What happens when we truly cannot believe our eyes?We see it everywhere these days. From advertisements to television and movies, we are constantly being bombarded by images manipulated to manipulate us. For years people have been wondering when this technology would become mainstream and we would see photorealistic 3D so believable that we just stare in shock. Hate to tell you this, but we're there, and have been for awhile. This article from CG Trader shows numerous photorealistic images you would swear are photos. You can watch Tupac perform at Coachella 2012 (He died in 1996 if you didn't know). And does anybody remember when Madonna performed with The Gorillaz at the 2006 Grammy Awards?OK, so The Gorillaz aren't exactly photorealism at it's finest,...
