Little Issues, Big Problems and Web Karma We've all made mistakes. From our websites to our emails to our day to day jobs, nobody's perfect and shit happens. But what if you made a mistake and nobody said anything? Did it really happen? You bet your ass it did, and just because nobody said anything doesn't mean they didn't notice. From websites to emails, there are errors everywhere. Typos, incorrect information and broken links abound, you can't have a web experience without an error these days. And that's OK, it really is. What's not OK is peoples general lack of compassion and ability to take one minute out of their day to let somebody know there's a problem. You would think if something's wrong people would pipe up like madman, but that's just not the case. In fact, the complete opposite happens, your customers/visitors will simply leave. It's sad, but so very true.To give an example. I recently got an...

User Experience spans far beyond software and apps. When people hear the words UX/User Experience, they tend to think of website and web apps. In reality, user experience is a part of your day to day life with every product you use. If you have ever been frustrated by a coffee maker that was a pain to program, or have an indicator on your dashboard that is hard to see, then you have had a poor 'user experience'. Most companies, small and large, have trouble grasping the simple concept that users want and crave simplicity. Apple's rise to the top wasn't a fluke, it was calculated. Finding ways to simplify your products and services to provide the ultimate user experience is the key to winning over your prospect, no matter your product or service. If you're returning, you can tell it's a cleaner and simpler design with some very cool responsive tweaks. They are small, but cool (Or so I've been told). The launch of this website marks a new chapter in my life as I start to push myself in a new direction as a speaker, consultant, educator and soon to be author. My first ebook is in the works and I will be posting regular content to my blog now (I know, SHOCK!). I have also done my first official speaking gig 'Backing Up Your Brain with Evernote' that went very well. My goal is to provide people with easy to understand concepts to better themselves with technology, graphics and web design. I hope you enjoy and share my...
